As you may know, the district has decided to provide basic school supplies to students; however, this is not an excuse for students to come to class unprepared or become negligent in keeping track of their supplies. With that stated, it is suggested that student come to class prepared with the following supplies, in order to be productive and successful:

· One Pocket Folder
· Pencils or pens (blue or black in ONLY)
· Agenda Book
Grading Policy
· We will utilize the following grading percentages:
o Assessments: 40%
o Writing: 30%
o Classwork: 25%
o Homework: 5%
· Every other Friday, students will receive a progress report showing student’s cumulative grade, as well as any assignments that may be missing. These reports must be signed and returned for a homework grade.
Homework/Classwork
· Homework must be completed prior to the start of class on the day it is due.
· Completed homework or classwork may be worth up to 10 points.
· Incomplete work will not be accepted.
· Students are responsible for turning in assignments into the appropriate mailboxes when it is due.
Late/Make-Up Work
· Students are responsible for retrieving missed work from the “While You Were Out” folder after an absence.
· Each day of absence will equal the days allotted for make-up.
· Late/Make Up Assignments will NOT be accepted longer than 2 weeks after the original due date.
· Homework/Classwork that is not made up will result in a zero for that assignment.
